Overview

A number of developers and authors have contributed to Open Source Physics and we are distributing selected examples on this website.  The development of this material has enabled the Open Source Physics project to improve in may ways. Code has been made more consistent, bugs have been found and squashed, and we have learned what tools and programs are useful to the developer and education community. But most importantly, Open Source Physics developers and authors have produced great curricular material for the physics education community. A selection of this material is available here and additional material, programs, and source code are available on various developer/author websites.

Additional programs are available in the Applets and Applications section of this website.

Projects

The  following projects have adopted Open Source Physics library for application development and for curriculum development.

Collections

Collections are small groupings of OSP-based Java programs that address a specific topic or curricular need. This material is organized and distributed in jar files using the Launcher program and a selection of this material is available here.

Links

It is not possible to mirror all OSP-related material on this website. We provide links to offsite OSP- and education-related material and encourage authors and developers to send us additional links.
