http://www.opensourcephysics.org/modeling/download/packages/ The OSP Launcher program makes it easy to distribute multiple programs and documentation in a single Java archive (jar file) known as a Launcher package. This directory contains Launcher packages (curriculum modules) of ready to use Ejs models. Download and execute these jar files. Double clicking on a Launch Node (green arrow) in the Launcher table of contents tree runs the Ejs model. Although models in Ejs Launcher packages are compiled and ready-to-use Java applications, Ejs Launcher packages are created in such a way that users can return to the Ejs authoring tool at any time to examine, modify, and adapt the models. Ejs Launcher packages contain small Extensible Markup Language (XML) descriptions of each model so that right-clicking on a Launch Node passes the XML document to Ejs thereby allowing users to examine and modify the model. Ejs can repackage modified models into a new jar file for redistribution. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Packages created by Francisco Esquembre and Wolfgang Christian: ejs_mechanics.jar Simple mechanics models that we use to teach Ejs modeling at professional development workshops. ejs_modeling_science.jar Preliminary examples from "Modeling Science: From Free Fall to Chaos." ejs_crcExamples.jar Examples from the ODE chapter from "Handbook of Dynamic Systems Modeling," (CRC Press 2007). ejs_demo.jar Examples from the Ejs chapter from "Open Source Physics: A User's Gudie with Examples," (Addison-Wesley 2007). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contributed packages: ehu_mechanics.jar Mechanics models contributed by Juan Aguirregabiria. ehu_waves.jar Wave models contributed by Juan Aguirregabiria.
